Our client is a London headquartered company that are a provider of institutional-grade exchange services intended to facilitate the trading of cryptocurrencies and digital assets.

They are now seeking to appoint on a permanent basis an experienced Business Analyst/ScrumMaster.

An opportunity has arisen for a business analyst to assist in the development of a new digital asset exchange; focused on an institutional client base. The ideal applicant will bring previous experience of working in a start-up, financial and/or capital markets experience, a project background and have world-class people skills.

The ideal candidate will have a real passion for success and will be never satisfied by achieving the bare minimum. They will be of an entrepreneurial mindset and have a real passion for detail and customer care.

They will be someone who relishes a challenge and flourishes on seeing their team improve and achieve targets. Finally, they should be prepared to "wear many hats" to ensure continuous flow in delivery and support of the exchange.

Key Role Responsibilities

Quality Assurance - the role requires defining, testing and tracking user stories in an agile environment, across various systems and business processes.

Reporting - the role requires generating weekly, monthly and ad-hoc project/sprint reporting.

Documentation - the candidate will assist in the creation of a document library for technology, operations and client users.

Discovery - working with clients and internal users to discover, understand and document requirements.

Communication - this role will coordinate and interface with globally diverse development teams and multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Salary is negotiable depended on experience. There is some potential for remote working but you must be able to commute to the London office on a regular basis. If you have the experience and skills outlined we would like to hear from you.

Requirements

Must-have

Experience as a business analyst in banking or capital markets (5+ years)

Experience liaising with both business and technical teams

Experience in delivering IT projects including testing, reporting and coordination.


Nice-to-have

Hands-on setup/configuration of Atlassian products

Experience in an agile environment

Knowledge of blockchain technologies

PMP certification

Experience documenting operational procedures

MiFID2 experience/knowledge

Benefits

£50,000 - £65,000 per annum, negotiable
