About the job

Our client is a successful Independent Advice firm and they are now seeking an IFA Administrator. Ideally someone who has worked for an IFA however solid administration experience in other Financial Services area such as pensions or insurance might be considered.

You will be providing admin support for one or more Financial Adviser to help process new and existing business. Client Reviews, processing of new business, preparation of Compliance/Provider documentation, Fund Switches, obtaining fund values from Providers, answering client queries etc.

Some basic office tasks undertaken such as opening the post and scanning to the relevant colleagues will also be required.

Record client communications (whether that communication is written, oral or electronic) including client related communications with third parties.

Client communications and client related communications require to be recorded on the client’s file in line with company policy.

Ensure that all files worked on are compliant in accordance with the firms compliance manual and administration procedures.

The role is ideally office based however there is some potential for HYBRID working depending on experience etc.

Requirements

Qualifications & Training

  • Ideally specific experience in providing Administration support for an IFA.

  • Financial Planning qualifications would be good, but not essential.

  • The Company will cover the cost of exams/training for individuals to complete their exams if they wish to do so.

  • Internal progression within the firm is available and encouraged

  • Good IT skills • Ability to work independently and in a team IT Skills • Competent in desktop applications (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)

  • IRESS Xplan experience would be good but not essential as training will be given.

Benefits

From £22,000 to £27,000 per annum, excellent benefits package
