Our client is a leading independent financial planning firm is dedicated to helping clients with their financial planning, through quality service and advice with offices in London and Sussex.

They provide financial advice services to individuals and businesses throughout the UK to managing the private wealth of individuals to setting up large Employee Benefit schemes for large UK companies.

In 2020 they won two major awards and they are frequently quoted in leading papers such as The Independent and Financial Times with a growing reputation in the media as insurance and financial experts.

They now have a requirement for an additional Health & Protection Insurance Adviser. You will be initially based full time in the Brighton office while training but then hybrid from home and the BN office

About the Role

You will join the team in the firms Brighton office as an insurance adviser providing whole of market advice to personal clients on Life Insurance, Critical Illness Cover, Income Protection and Private Medical Insurance.

Once you have a solid understanding of these products, there may also be the opportunity to develop your career into providing advice on Business Protection Insurance products, such as Keyman and Shareholder Protection Insurance or Employee Benefits.

With ongoing training and development, you will be required to achieve a very high level of technical expertise combined with first class client service.

Package:

Competitive basic salary of £25,000-£35,000, depending on experience

Generous bonus structure (top performing advisers are earning over £60,000 per annum)

4x salary Death in Service (Life Insurance) benefit

To support your development, the firm will sponsor you through professional qualifications, starting with the Certificate in Health & Protection Insurance (Cert CII) with the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).

For those that demonstrate a high level of ability there may also be the opportunity to progress to undertake the Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) with the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), with the aim of developing you into a holistic financial adviser that can also provide advice on pensions, investments and tax planning.

Requirements

We are looking for highly motivated individuals with strong sales capabilities who want to develop their career within the financial services sector and are willing to undertake training to pass professional exams.


Key Requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • The ability to understand complex information

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • A confident and motivated self-starter

  • Experience in financial services a plus but not essential

  • Telephone based sales experience

  • Evidence of success and stable employment

  • Strong grades at either A-Level or GCSE.
