About the job

Our client is a leading Financial Services business that has recently established a Fund and Investment Management (FIM) business division and is looking to establish a new Operations department within to support with existing and future portfolio acquisitions.

Reporting into the FIM Operations Director, the FIM Operations Manager will ensure new transactions are effectively managed post acquisition and will help develop and embed new operational processes and procedures to drive operational effectiveness within FIM to create a scalable Fund Management Business.

Key Responsibilities:

The FIM Operations Manager will support in the development of a robust and scalable post-deal management process from deal closing to portfolio management.


The FIM Operations Manager will be responsible for coordinating, managing and reporting post-deal management activities, including:

Maintaining the Fund Operations priority list and reporting on progress;

Monitoring and reporting progress of operations plans created by Servicers and achievement of key milestones;

Updating structure charts with inputs from internal and external parties;

Monitoring the completeness of all deal decisioning minutes, internal approval papers, including ensuring all conditions have been met and issues resolved;

Managing post-deal documentation and liaising as appropriate with any third parties;

Managing and updating the documents library;

Maintaining a log of the structure and details of any bank accounts;

Maintaining and updating the library of processes;

Ensuring the CRM system is kept updated;

Managing changes in Service providers and associated onboarding requirements;

Tracking and ensuring compliance with interest payment dates and supporting the cash flow movements across the vehicles;

Project managing items such as the opening of bank accounts, custody accounts, setting up of new entities.

The FIM Operations Manager will work closely with key stakeholders within FIM, external service providers, central functions and the Asset Management and Servicing Business. They will also work closely with the Investment team in the transaction planning and structuring of a portfolio acquisition.

Requirements

Experience:

  • Experience in Finance Services (Banking or Accountancy) or Legal Services is essential

  • Experience in Fund Management Operations desirable

  • Experience with structuring and securitisation desirable

  • Previously had roles working and managing numerous internal & external stakeholders

  • Extremely organised and able to meet deadlines under multiple competing priorities

  • Pro active; able to organise own workload and identify what needs to be done

Benefits

Basic salary of c £55-60,000 + up to 50% bonus and leading corporate flexible benefits package.
