Development Manager (Paraplanner Experienced)
Our client is a major UK IFA company, with offices nationwide. Due to their continued expansion, they are now looking for an experienced Development Manager with Paraplanning experience. The role will be based at the company’s Manchester office.
Job Purpose
-To develop and train paraplanners with ongoing development needs, and to deliver
paraplanner Induction content training as per business requirements.
-To assist in the design, implementation, delivery and recording of individual and group
training activity in support of the company objectives and effective conduct of our business.
-To work with paraplanners with established track records, providing development, coaching
and training support to enable them to achieve their highest potential, in terms of sales
skills, supervision skills and technical knowledge.
-To support new entrants to the company in achieving competency and minimising the time
taken for new entrants to understand and be able to follow company process and standards
and be productive in their roles.
-Assist in monitoring adherence to company policies and processes and assessing the
knowledge and skills of the paraplanner workforce and identifying risks and training needs.
There is a highly competitive salary up to £45000 on offer, plus a range of other benefits.

Qualifications
Modules towards Certificate in Paraplanning (or equivalent) - Essential
Certificate in Paraplanning (or equivalent) - Desirable
Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning - Desirable
Experience
Experience of working in a regulated Financial Services environment.
Experience in the construction of financial planning advice, either in an advisory, paraplanning or research capacity;
Experience in the construction of client facing Suitability Reports
Experience of coaching individuals and providing feedback
Experience of providing skills-based coaching
Experience in the identification of training needs
Experience in the design and implementation of training programmes and supporting documentation, as well as experience in the delivery of training

Ability to demonstrate required level of technical knowledge and application of qualifications in the IFA environment

Good understanding of the T&C regime within a principles-based regulation model and focus on the appropriate customer outcomes

Benefits
£43,000 - £45,000 per annum, negotiable
